The Holy Family Children’s Home is unique because no other institution in St. Lucia serves orphaned children. The Holy Family Children’s Home is the only place for abused and neglected children. Because of such widespread child abuse, these children are referred to the Home from the Ministry of Social Service, police and family court. Diamonds International St. Lucia staff members acting as Goodwill Staff ambassadors, purchase and distribute toys and presents to these children.
Toys and games are crucial for helping children cope with hospital stays and medical procedures. For some children this is the only outlet they have during their stay. Over the Christmas season, Diamonds International St. Lucia staff members collect and hand out gifts to patients in the Victoria Hospital Children’s Ward and help provide true Christmas spirit to children who need it most.
Journey to a Cure – Support the Fight against Breast Cancer. Diamonds International joined in the battle against breast cancer when it launched a new pendant to promote breast cancer awareness. The one-of-kind creation is called "Linie" in honor of Irene Panoff's late sister, who lost her battle against breast cancer at the young age of 35. Five percent of gross sales are donated to the Jackson Memorial Foundation and the UM/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center for breast cancer treatment and research. Download the PDF
